Draw the weekly highs and lows to any chart

I got this request from a fellow trader @brandopdt and I find it so useful that I started to use it myself.

The weekly highs and lows often work as a support or resistance levels, so are good areas of interest for reversals or breaks.

We can draw the levels by retrieving the previous candle highs and lows and draw them to the chart.

I am using named horizontal lines so that they can be deleted by name and not interfere with other trend or horizontal lines drawings.

How to do it

  • name your weekly chart

  • save the script as a hotkey or a hot button or a window button

  • add the chart update script if the automation is needed

I personally do not use the weekly chart by default and use the daily chart to switch to weekly time-frame. For this purpose, I created a mini chart that I do not need to look at. It contains just the price action candles, and it looks like this.

It can be hidden under all the windows, but it needs to exist so we can read its candles.
